iPad app issues

This app is the only reason I haven't banned the iPad, am waiting patiently for a W8 orWP8 app.
But anyway...

Both last night and today I have connected fine to the unit, selected to download a file, I'm using 3 minute intervals, so the files can be quite big... it downloads for a couple of mins, but as soon as the bar reaches the end, the app crashes and closes.
This happens consistently and every time

Anyone else experience this?

I'd see if you can update the iPad. Think that might be the issue.

Its unsupported... you can't update it.
It all worked fine a couple of weeks ago

If you have not powered down the iPad for a while try that. You may also do the two finger salute where you hold down both the Power and Home button at the same time. Keep holding until the White Apple appears. You can then let go. Sometimes this can solve a myriad of problems.

I will give that a go, as I tried yet again last night and twice it crashed out.
