    Mobius Super Capacitor.

Me again. I did manage to solve the above problem all by myself. I did not have a micro sd card installed in the camera while I was trying to set it up on the computer using the Msetup GUI. I was unaware that one was required at the time. However, lesson learned. P.S. I installed a 128 gb...

    Mobius Super Capacitor.

Help! I am trying to set up my brand new Mobius C2 with the Msetup program. I plug the cam into the computer and the yellow light starts flashing. I can't change it. Everything I do doesn't work. I've switched batteries, put in a supercapacitor, nothing. I don't know what is happening.

Here I am answering my own post again. It would appear that my computer had the 'shuffle play' option on. So, during playback, it was a mixture of clips. Now that I am aware of this, I put it back to 'non-shuffle play', and all is well once again. D'oh!

Question to those in the know!! I have just got home from a ride, having my Mobius C2 soaking up the scenery while I was cruising along. Hooked up the Mobius to the computer to view the results. For some reason, the order in which these 3 minute videos playback (which I have recording under the...

Back again. Well I can't explain why I was unable to figure out how to play more than one clip (recording) at a time. All I have to do is to highlight more than just one clip before I press play. Two clips, two will play in a row, c/w the overlap. Three clips highlighted, three clips will play...

I can't admit to being very computer savvy, so I can't even begin to guess/suggest what playback software I am using. I did just re-format my card, and set up the camera with the parameters I wish to use. I will set it back into the vehicle and see what happens. Thanks to everyone for your...

Okay. I understand the concept regarding the one click/one clip. However, when I was viewing Techmoan's YouTube channel quite some time ago, he made special mention of the fact that the clips will 'skip back', or 'overlap' during playback. Now, this appears not to be happening. Should I be...

Back again after a lengthy hiatus. I had my windshield replaced yesterday, so I brought in the Mobius C2 c/w super capacitor that I use as my dash cam and had a look at some of the files. (recordings) I have elected to record with a 3 min clip. Now I was under the impression that the files would...

Here's something I haven't experienced before. I checked my video's from the dashcam (Mobius C2) and noticed that they did not play back in order. It was as if they were on 'shuffle'. Did I push a wrong button? Has anyone else had this happen to them? What up??!!

    Write protection on file

Here is a photo of my Mobius C2 dashcam. (A very large photo at that) I have read in other threads that there was some trouble fumbling for the mode button during driving in order to 'capture the moment'. I have modified my Mobius mode button so that there is no mistaking, fumbling, bumbling, or...

    Write protection on file

Back from rather lengthy test period. It would appear that after all the changes I made, ie: resetting the camera, the 'saved' files problem that I was experiencing seems to be a thing of the past. As mentioned above, I recorded all the times and dates on a piece of paper of the files that I...

    Write protection on file

I just checked the files on my Mobius C2 and they all appeared the same. I didn't see anything that would suggest that any file had been saved or 'write-protected'. I'm trying to wrap my brain around the fact that all these extra steps must be taken in order to find the saved files. On...

Thank you for that, Dashmellow. I have a Windows 7 system, but still haven't noticed anything out of the norm. I will endeavour to persevere.

    Write protection on file

I reset the name of the video back to REC_ from Cam1. This appears to have done nothing. Question: When a file has been successfully write protected, does it appear differently when one reviews (on the computer) all of the videos taken while driving? For instance, does it say "Write Protected"...

    Write protection on file

The naming of the files is not important in the least. I will change the Cam1 back to REC_ and see what happens. Will let you know after a few test runs. Cross your fingers...

    Write protection on file

Yes, I did change the name to Cam1 and the other to Cam2. I can't understand why a name change would affect the overwrite function, though. Now if I change it back to REC_, it will probably read that as another change and still not function correctly. If it's not one thing, it's another...

    Write protection on file

No, I just pressed it normally. I probably had four or five clips saved, (or so I thought) but none showed up when I looked at them on the computer. I have read a number of complaints about the clips not being saved. One saying that once your micro sd card is full, you can no longer save a clip...

    Write protection on file

I took a trip up north recently and ran across a number of wayward animals on the road. I pressed the mode button each time as directed in the manual hoping that these particular clips would be saved so that I could show my granddaughter when I arrived home. However, when I attempted to retrieve...

lost footage with 3 weeks old mobius v3

I like the 'automated black box' theory. I have a second vehicle, which I use rarely, and I have a suction cup mount on the windscreen for my second Mobius C2. This camera is battery powered because I also use it for cycling, quadcopters, etc. Therefore, I cannot run a supercapacitor in it. The...

lost footage with 3 weeks old mobius v3

It seems that every advancement in vehicle technology brings another 'glitch' with it. Power this, power that. I think that the most basic (and easiest) method of recording is to have the camera within arm's reach, have the proper GUI setup, and just hit the "GO" button once you are ready to...
