I'm going to guess that newer firmware stores the GPS data differently. See my PM about sharing a video - would be helpful if you don't mind. Not that a lack of GPS location should crash the program, so I'll take a look at how it handles that.

Good news is Chrome notifications are working! If the program crashed, I'm not sure it would have written anything to the log, but it's worth checking first :) Will wait to hear back from you :)

If the files have their GPS data written in the same way as VIOFO A119, it'll be fine. Always happy to look at other files, if you're willing to send a sample over :)

Yes, at some point. This release is basically the final public beta from previously, with packages updated and a few minor fixes. I only own a single lens camera at the moment, which would make development difficult. Will need to look into getting an A129.
