We like the BlackVue DR600GW more, especially since it's newer. Wifi will be helpful with setting it up and you'll be able to look at videos on your smartphone. You'll also find more support for it here at DCT. Kelvin

Oops! Missed that. Thanks for pointing that out jokiin. My guess is to try another card if you have another lying around. It sounds like the Mini 0806 will beep 3 times if it cannot record to the card anymore for any reason. Kelvin

Change the setting for Loop Recording to either 3 Minutes or 5 Minutes and that should fix it. Looks like Loop Recording set to "off" only records a 4 GB file then stops. Kelvin

We got a test unit too and I found the Lukas app to be amazing. Very responsive. I like it much better than the BlackVue app. I'm really looking forward to what Lukas has to offer in the future. Kelvin

Build quality is the biggest difference. The more expensive dash cams usually come with a capacitor instead of a battery, which will withstand hot and cold temperatures much better. Kelvin
