Well, it is quite short. E.g. if people are mounting Mobius behind the mirror, surely this can fit as well? I may be biased, as for many years all cars that my wife and I had all had sensor block behind the rear-view mirror. I thought this becomes more ad more common.

It was just towards suggestion about labelling the cables. To put "4m" and "6m" labels on their ends. (as anything else will not work due to different possible installation scenarios)

In mine they are mostly wrapped. Plus having seen several car factories, cable looms were mostly wrapped. To reduce friction and possible rattle.

Does anyone wrap cables in felt tape (e.g. tesa Adhesive Cloth Fabric Tape), before routing them under the panels?

Can parking mode (on/off) depend on GPS data? E.g. I have CCTV and Ring at home, so will not need any recordings from dashcam (to save car battery). Similar with office car park.

You hide main unit somewhere. Run a power cable to it so it can work. Plus a cable for each camera (2). Seems quite logical... Or what "extra wires" do you mean?

This would be really great!!! (my car has beige/shale-coloured roof lining and similar coloured plastics near the mirror, with no "black dots" on the windscreen, so usual black-coloured dash-cams don't "work" very well. Plus not much space for DC's side cables.)
