My Git2 (1.5b FW) records until reaching 4gb limit and starts a new file after a ~3 sec gap (depends on settings), but it continues to record until SD card is full.

PS: I guess 3rd party stuff like sd-cards, chargers, usb- and hdmi- cables are the main pain in the ass for such responsible brands as GitUp 😉

if you stop recording before the card is full the loop function won't overwrite anyway

even if using 4gb files so it recorded until it stopped you'd still want to keep an eye on your recording time anyway as otherwise you could think you're recording when you're not, I don't see a lot of difference between having to manually stop a recording at a certain time interval versus having it stop by itself at the same time interval and you not knowing recording had stopped if you didn't check

The camera will erase my 29 minutes video to record a 2 minute fragment of a looped video.

loop doesn't work like that, all file sizes are equal

if you are only ever recording up to the length of battery time then loop would never be an issue with a 32gb memory card as you'd run out of battery well before you could fill the card and have loop delete anything anyway

Hello GitUp. Is there any chance of a firmware update that allows recording in PAL for the git 2? Shouldn't be hard as the camera can already playback in PAL? I'm looking for recording in 1080P 25 Frames per second! Great little camera otherwise! Cheers
