64Gb possible or not in 0803?

HI all, I recently purchased 2 64gb micro sd cards for the 0803, formatted them to FAT 32 with Mini Tool partition wizard, filled partitions with zeros, and placed them in the camera, to no avail. I tried formatting them in the camera(not advised I believe), but no joy. Any help would be good - even if it is that 64gb is not possible (although I have read threads to the opposite on other sites).

64gb is a definite maybe, sometimes working, sometimes not, better just to stick with 32gb and avoid the grief

Definitely possible.

I don't recommend formatting anything over 16GB in the camera.

You do need FAT32 format so must use an unofficial card formatting tool for cards above 32GB.

If you are going to fill the partition with zeros, shouldn't that be done before formatting the partition rather than after?

Use a decent brand name card if you want reliability.

Format your card with "SmartDisk_FAT32_tool" it will be fine. Don't format it in the camera.
