I have spent the better half of the last couple of months testing one of 70mai's latest releases, the A810S. Read on to find out my conclusion regarding the much-anticipated follow-up to the successful A810.
70mai 4K A810S (Sony Starvis 2 IMX678/IMX662, Wi-Fi 6, 4K front + 1080p rear, HDR both channels)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Firmware: v1.5.40ww. The firmware version loaded from the factory onto the device was v1.1.26ww, and during the testing period I received a few updates to take the device to it's current state of v1.5.40ww.
App for testing: Android version v4.0.0, obtained from Google Play Store.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The verdict:
70mai has built quite the reputation for quality dash cams with great video quality, at an affordable price. The A810S continues this tradition, along with building on the success of it's predecessor which helped make 70mai a household name in the dashcam space. Although I would have liked to have seen some stronger specifications to place it closer to 70mai's own flagships, the A810S still is a very good dash camera. Considering it's strong price-to-performance ratio, the A810S comes as an easy recommendation from me.
My nitpickings:

My nitpickings:
- Design issues: rear cabling should be better managed by not having front and rear camera USB ports on the same side of the device
- Would have liked to see a CPL filter included in-box
- 70mai risks diluting the product line-up containing multiple Starvis 2 4K models
The positive:
- Clear and detailed 4K video footage from the Starvis 2 sensor on-board; rear sensor performs decently
- Seamless integration with the UP04/UP05 4G hardwire surveillance kit for parking monitoring
- Build quality and heat dissipation is fantastic
- App and cloud functions are reliable and even better with the recent re-design of the 70mai APP
