A119 vs mini 0903 (nanoQ)

If I could get the mini 0903 guts in A119 body I would be a happy camper :)
To tell the truth though, most people will not get the result from their 0903 as shown here.
I thoroughly cleaned the lens front and back as well as sensor and then reseated it and refocused.
It seems 0903 has a better lens and sensor so A119 eeven with double the pixels is still not as clear.
Not sure if @viofo will be able to improve it in software.
Not sure how much the software will help for this, of course we will still tuning IQ for A119.
This mainly depends on the wide lens and "big" sensor on A119, but according to our testing, A119 seems is better to capture the licence number.
We also have an action which use NTK96650 with IMX322 sensor with a F2.8 lens, the night video is also good, so we know how it performs.

I think mini 0903 images, colors and sharpness are better than a119.

Can you compare A119 1080p 60fps instead of 1440p?
I think it struggles at 1440p.

so A119 1080@60p (or 30p if you wish) -- Nano 0903 1080@30p please.

A119 will look the best at 1440 since it is the native resolution of the sensor.
There is no point IMHO to have it @1080/30/60. Especially in low light where 1080/60 will really by just 1080/30.

I watched a few 1440p samples and 1080@60p ones, 1080 looked better in daylight. 1440p also looked bad at night recordings IMHO too.

I agree that the Mini 0903 has sharper image and better color than A119. However, there are lot of issues for the Mini 0903 for not being reliable. I want to buy a dashcam for rear-view camera, but not sure which one I should take. For the purpose of using a dashcam, I believe reliability is the first priority.

You mentioned that A119 seems is better to capture the license numbers....but I am waiting to buy an A119S thinking that it will read license plates the same as the A119. It is understood by previous information that night time video will be better with the A119S. Is that the only improvement (night time vision)

Somehow the screenshot taken by A119 here are not crisp & sharp. Check in this link https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/a119-vs-sg9665gc.22110/, here the A119 screenshots are way better & much clearer than what has been posted in the preceding posts.
I would not say those are way better. Just look at the day time screens in the other thread. Trees are same blurry.
Mini 0903 has by far better quality in terms of sharpness and color accuracy. A119 looks like up-scaled 960p - not quite as bad as 720p but definitely not reaching true full HD quality even at 1440p. Kind of weird considering the price difference between the two.

But again "RELIABILITY" of mini0903 is under inverted comma n bold
