A119S asks to format every few days (that setting is off)

Whats the difference between the orange and green ones ?

There is a U1 and U3 orange ones, Green 64/128 are all U3

I was told the Green ones are the Amazon house brand. (special deal with Samsung) If you buy EVO Select make sure it's "Sold by Amazon" (Sold and Fulfilled by Amazon) and not the other sellers.

This card:

Is a LOT cheaper than this card:

Are they basically the same card? Are these cards SLC, MLC or TLC? IS there any reason to get the green Select card over the orange one? They are both U3.

Neither one of those is shipped and sold by Amazon directly there is a third party seller involved. I would only buy one that is shipped and sold by Amazon direct if you can only buy on Amazon.

I can't seem to find any Samsung EVO cards that are both shipped from and sold by Amazon, at least on Amazon.ca (I am in Canada).

Suggestions?

Amazon . COM should ship to Canada with reasonable shipping fees

Ok. I was able to find this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/B06XX29S9Q
Ordered it on Amazon.COM (USA). Will end up costing pretty much the same price as the orange one would have been on Amazon.CA

Thanks for the help!! I'm hoping this card fixes the issue.. I'm currently using a 32GB Kingston MicroSD and I'm getting the "Please format microSD" message every few days just like the OP.

EDIT: I see that the Samsung EVO Select line of cards include a 10-year warranty, which is extremely good! Unfortunately this warranty doesn't extend to dashcams 🙁 Just something we should be aware of:

Just wanted to post here again since it's been about 3 weeks since I recieved the Samsung EVO Select card, and I can say that it completely resolved the issue I was having, so the problem was definitely some kind of incompatibility with the Kingston card I was using.

Thank you @OCD Tronic !

That's one reason why I like PNY cards - no dash cam exclusion, as of 1/18/16. (That and I've never had one fail yet.)
