A139 Pro SD Card?

You don't have the right information. The camera supports the H.265 codec. I've tried and gone back again. The space saving is not great - about 10% and there may be a playback compatibility issue when handing it over to the police.

Hidden feature alert! Something I had missed before is the option to adjust the codec the camera uses to build the files. By default the camera uses h.264, but if you stop recording and then hold the mic button for 2 seconds until it beeps it switches the camera to using h.265. The main benefit you will see with h.265 are smaller file sizes for the same quality video.

I just want 48 hours of footage.... Is that too much to ask because my cheap $50 camera does it in my other car. 10% for 265 is going to bump my 15 hours to around 16.5 hours. I have sentry but I like the idea of better quality and different angles too.

Yep in my A139PRO.

It came formatted in exFAT, which I formatted into FAT32 using the blackvue app on a windows 10 PC and used it in my mirror dashcam for a few days (that thing is only rated for a 128GB card) worked fine there but wanted to get it in my A139PRO as that will fill it faster as I want to see how its write performance is after it's been filled with data (it tests @ 70+MBps new)

Transferred it directly to my A139PRO and it would just boot loop with no chance to try a reformat. Reformatted it in the Blackvue app and same result - but I had removed the volume name 'BLACKVUE' which that app puts on a newly formatted card. Tried it again later without removing the volume name and the A139PRO recognised the card without boot looping.

Hand to try reformatting twice in the A139PRO to get it formatted in the dashcam - 1st attempt seemed to unmount the card, 2nd worked and is now recording correctly. Strange thing is if I pull the card and connect it to my windows 10 laptop it reports that it is formatted as an exFAT volume (not FAT32), seems very big cards may get formatted as exFAT by the A139pro.
In 2007, Microsoft introduced the proprietary exFAT. The new file system was simpler than NTFS and similar to FAT, but was not fully compatible. Support started with Windows Vista after the release of SP1 in 2007. The exFAT system is used for SDXC cards.

In 1997, a version called FAT32 was released. Returns 32-bit cluster addresses where the allocation unit number uses 28 bits. This increases the partition size limit to 8TiB for a 32kiB cluster (228×32kiB) and the file size to 4GB (232−1 bytes exactly), making it unsuitable for storing large files such as DVD images, large files with video and the like.

However, there are also other limitations that must be taken into account. DOS uses the BIOS to read the disk, so they are limited to CHS addressing with a 32 GB limit (applied in DOS environment or Windows 95 and 98 startup). The limitation of LBA addressing is limited to 128 GB up to the ATA 66 specification (i.e. the ability to communicate via an older version of the IDE interface with a PATA cable). Windows 95 and 98's flawed scandisk utility does not work with partitions larger than 128 GB and these versions of Windows also include a flawed fdisk utility that does not work properly with partitions larger than 64 GB. A fixed fdisk utility is available, but does not allow creating partitions larger than 512 GB.

Native support for 32-bit systems is included in Windows 2000 and later (including Windows XP), which allows you to read and write to an arbitrarily large FAT32 partition. However, they intentionally include a tool that only allows you to format a partition with a maximum size of 32 GB (the same limit is also applied by the installer), as Microsoft considers such large FAT file systems to be slow and inefficient.[1][5] However, larger existing partitions can be easily formatted by other programs.[6]
