- Viofo A129 Duo, mini 0806 (RIP)
I'm so happy with my mini 0806 (aside from the audio noise issues, which hopefully will be resolved thanks to PurpleMoon's custom power setup), that I'm thinking about adding a second to my 2012 CR-V's rear window.
I currently have the front dash cam tapped into my CR-V's fuse box using a 5-amp add-a-fuse connected to the rear wiper window fuse, which is 10-amps. If I add a rear view 0806 I'll likely hardwire it to the wiring harness of the rear wiper motor, albeit with it's own secondary 5-amp fuse.
If I do that should I move the front dash cam to another fuse slot? In other words will I be drawing too much amperage off of the rear wiper motor circuit with two mini 0806s?
And second question, I take it a CPL or GPS mount in unnecessary with a rear window mount, correct?
