Hi, I just had my A329S hardwired with the HK6 kit and I’m looking for recommendations on which parking mode settings to use. This is my first time using a dash camera so I want to use the best possible settings for my use case.
The car is usually street parked overnight, or sometimes in a parking garage when visiting family. I’d also like coverage while simply shopping or running errands. I work hybrid and don’t drive every day, so the car may sit for more than a day at a time and since its new, my priority is keeping the battery healthy while still maintaining reasonable long-term parking coverage.
I’m unsure whether it’s best to rely only on voltage cutoff or to also use a timed cutoff in my situation. I’m also undecided between hybrid parking mode low bitrate and time lapse. Any recommended settings and advice on other related settings that affect parking mode would be helpful.
