aftermath of someone doing something wrong

Ouch

Someone turned when they shouldn't have, or someone ran a red light.
 
My M8 came up on this yesterday, some one plowed into the back of a trailer on the motorway.


So what can a sane person learn from this ?
1: Dont like pictures of cupcakes at 110 / 130 km/h
 
i forgot to upload this afterwards. i rode my bike past there a couple hours later and that van was on the side of the road with the cops and fire truck and tow truck, obviously oil spill as sand all over the road. didnt think it would still be there after that length of time.
i overheard the cops telling the lady that unless there is a green arrow you cant just turn, you have to give way. obviously an overseas tourist in a juicy rental van not knowing the laws properly here. probably only a green straight ahead light and no arrow present at the time. means give way to oncoming traffic when turning.
