Alternative Mount for Nextbase 212

Hi everyone.

I have recently joined the dashcam world with a Nextbase 212 lite. I am pleased with the camera with the exception of the mount.

In my car there is a large plastic covering over the rain sensor and the suction mount does not allow me to place the camera close enough to the screen to place it in front of the rear view mirror and avoid the RS covering appearing in the frame.

What I would really like is an adhesive mount for the 212, one that has the same size "ball" so I could keep the powered quick release mount section. this should hold it closer to the windscreen.

Does anyone know of a suitable candidate ?

I tolerate this much in pic below because it's mostly just sky being obscured, but depending on the fitting on your cam and mount you may well be able to use a mount (or slightly modify a mount) from another make/model of camera - some of my/our cams are on modified mounts or mounts adapted from other cams:
