Am I looking for too much in a Dash Cam?

I cant remember but its a add-on for some camera, but i cant remember the brand but there is a couple as i recall.
Regarding the value / functionality of those i am also blank, i prefer to use always record low bitrate, and then have G sensor on in case anything major happen, so most other options for parking guard i tend to ignore a little.

Vantrue has 1 or 2 models which use radar for motion detect and I believe Thinkware(?) does one also. It works excellently in detecting, but poorly as implemented in the Vantrue cams due to a lack of prebuffering and long boot-up times.

Speed-reading radar is a different animal but can be bought online in various places. Legality of possession and use varies by Nation so you'd be wise to check into that where you are before spending your money. Here in the US possession isn't an issue but use in public can be, that also varies by location and might require FCC licensing too- not sure about that part.
