Android app doesn't play videos

I tried the android app for the first time. The wifi to the camera is not very reliable, the app often says device disconnected or something to that effect.

When it does work, I try to play any video but when I tap on the video, nothing happens.

Videos need to be selected and downloaded, they won't play before downloading

What phone and OS is it?

Ah ok. That isn't very intuitive. Let me try again. Galaxy S9, Android 10.

That should work fine when used right, my phone a xiaomi mi9 have much similar hardware to the GS9 from Samsung, and it have worked just fine the few times i have used it ( dont use it much as i nurture a intense dislike for my phone, so dont like to touch it more than a few minutes every day )
