Auto download recordings

Has anyone figured out a way to auto download recordings from a Viofo A229 to a phone or computer?

I was thinking that maybe I could write a script that auto downloads videos from the wifi station, but wifi station mode turns off whenever the car turns off, even though I have a hardwire kit.

Are you using parking mode? If parking mode is off and you have the hardwire kit wired correctly, then the camera will shut down when the car is turned off.

I am using parking mode. But still, when I turn off the car I hear "Wifi disabled".

Interestingly, if I turn on Wifi Station Mode while in parking mode, it stays on when I turn my car on, though.

Interesting idea, but the WiFi connectivity is not into a network, afaik (WiFi Direct only).
So it is not discoverable on a network by any other station, to automatically scan and download files.

Edit: just found out about WiFi station mode - my bad.
