Batch 1 vs Batch 2

I have bought a 806 in early February. How can I identify if I have a batch 1 vs batch 2?

Somethings the red light will go solid and will not respond to input, need to 30 second power off
Somethings after pressing a button (cannot remember which) the screen will show a circular row of dots, unit becomes unresponsive, need to 30 second power off.
When I connected it to a portable USB charger, battery, size of lipstick, unit switched between making two tones and flashing through all three light, need to 30 second power off.

the USB charger might not be up to the task so I wouldn't be too concerned about that, the other things with freezing etc is not right

did you buy it locally?

Sounds like a batch II camera, the power light on the batch I cameras is red and the record light blue.

Are you using the parking guard? In some circumstances, a bug in that can cause symptoms similar to what you describe.

The two tones is probably just telling you that there is a power supply fault, the charger can't supply enough current, although it must be a very weak charger as the camera doesn't take all that much power.
