Greetings,

New camera, purchased new. used for a few hours. Got only an hour recording time out of the original battery.

Purchased the 820 mAh battery, recharged and it also only allows an hour of recording time.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your time.

You say it's new, however, is it the V3 or the last of the V2? If it's a V2, the 820mAh battery will take around 5 hours to fully charge.

If it's a V3 the LED observation hole should look as per the image below. The V2 hole is circular.

I'm not real certain whether camera is V2 or V3 (observation hole?).

For reasons I can't explain, my last recharge and viewing amounts to 2 hours of video.

I relied on the green LED indicating full charge.

Regardless, 2 hours viewing.

Thank you for viewing

not that easy, the V2 I have also has the oval hole. the new V3 I have has oval hole, cases are identical, no way to tell unless you open it up.

What's different between V2 and V3?

Must've miss the post. Can you narrow it down to the post #.

Dashmellow,
Thanks. Save me re reading the whole thread again.

I'm surprised they didn't change make it supercap right out of the box or made a version as such
