Is it fair to say that if one parks on the roadside that the radar module is deemed not useful for parking mode?

Is it fair to say that if one parks on the roadside that the radar module is deemed not useful for parking mode?

The radar module seems less useful for roadside parking due to constant movement. I bought the dashcam for parking mode, but even with low radar sensitivity, it went into battery protection after just 3 hours. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong.

It is going to depend on the amount of traffic, I would expect a residential street to be OK, parking in a carpark but next to a highway will not be so successful, the radar will see through the wall/hedge between the carpark and highway, so be kept awake by every vehicle!
