Hi guys,

I'm having trouble finding a recommendation for a good value 2-channel dashcam, since most reviews tend to focus on camera quality and features.

I just need something basic to absolve liability in case of an accident. I don't need anything fancy like 4k, but I still want something that is decent quality e.g. has starvis sensor, okay video quality etc

Thanks in advance

There are many models that match your requirements...
Here's one of them:

Damn, reasonable requirements on a forum. Good job!! Are you sure you don't want a dash cam that makes your breakfast and after dinner drinks and gives you a shoulder message while driving? 😉

I know...usually people want way more than they need. Rarely do we have a reasonable request from someone. 🙂

Honestly, any 2-channel, 2K QHD-level dashcam will do. Viofo is the leader at the moment. You can consider the Viofo A229 Plus. If you want to deal with a premier Canadian dealer, give
@SafeDriveSolutions a DM or call and ask him for suggestions.

Or reasonable recommendations from self-appointed 'experts' who look down on anything that isn't the 'latest and greatest' and feel it's somehow inferior and has no place in the market.
