Thanks again to Tiffany and Nextbase.
Took my camera apart to change the battery and when I tested it all the screen was fubarred.
Somehow managed to damage the ribbon cable even though I was careful with it as I know they can be fragile.
Got a replacement LCD sent out and now all fixed and working again.
