BlackVue B-130X Test & Review PP

I express myself badly, I will try to be clearer. The Vantrue is powered by USB-C on the battery connector via a male/female cigarette lighter socket.
I would have liked to avoid this cigarette lighter connection and have a USB-C port cable on the Vantrue side and the appropriate connector on the battery side, a direct connection of sorts.
I'm sorry, I do not understand.
Can you attach a photo / screenshot of the cable you want to use?

I was wondering if there was a single-piece cable to replace the ones circled in red on the diagram?
No.
You must connect this output cable to the Vantrue 3-Wre Hardwire Kit.

What a difference with the most expensive model with voltage display, it is adjustable too. What setting should I position it on?

I have the B130x hardwired with a Blackvue 970X Box and my parking mode only lasts around 12 hours with a fully charged battery pack.

It's set for Motion with both cameras and Cloud.

Does 12 hours make sense because I'm confused how you guys are getting 18 hours or more.

Thanks

Welcome to the club.
If the front & rear cameras are constantly detecting motion, and triggering recording it will raise power consumption.
Also if you keep accessing the camera via cloud that will also increase power consumption.

You might try a different parking mode like time lapse, or perform a baseline test by parking in your garage with no movement to see how long it lasts.
If you need further assistance you may want to tag the BlackVue experts @rcg530 or @Vortex Radar

Is your dashcam using LTE or WiFi for cloud? I'm not sure which one has a higher power draw. Also, how long have you had your B-130X? I could see some degradation over time, but a 33% drop in parking record time is pretty significant. I can put a B-130A and 970X 2CH Box on the bench and run a test and let you know how it goes. That said, with the motion detection mode, it's kinda hard to keep an eye on when the battery runs out of power. Much easier when it's in a timelapse or low bitrate type of mode and I can just look at the memory card and see the timestamp for when the video stopped, heh.

It's using Cloud via LTE and I have the 970X 2CH.

The B-130X is brand new and I have it wired using a automotive relay.

Since my battery is in my trunk, I have both the dashcam box and battery back there too.

It's parked inside a garage at night and no one goes in there except for myself.

I parked it last night and it only last 8 and half hours, roughly

How off can the app be when reporting park time?

So silly question, but are you sure the battery is able to fully charge back up to 100% beforehand?
I believe so.
I charged it originally using the accompanied cigarette charger with a Anker Solix DC200.
And after it was wired directly, I drive about an hour or so for it fully charge up again.

Just set up the Box on the bench with a B-130A after shooting a quick video on it. Unfortunately I'm not able to get it to pair with my SIM card, so I'll stick to WiFi cloud for now. In the app, I'm seeing an estimated remaining time of just 9h and 54min. Yikes!

What does that mean if the 130A is supposed to last 55 mins more?

Did recent firmware updates increase the amount of wattage being drawn?

Up to 55 min, but that depends on the dashcam you're using. I don't think it's universally true.

No idea. I haven't looked at that. I just updated the fw since the dashcam has been sitting in the closet for a while and I like to keep things updated when possible.

Checking in now 2h later, the app is reporting 8h remaining, so the app's estimate is progressing about as expected.
