Blank Spots in Recordings

Mini 0801 was working well. Recently took the card out and reviewed recordings.
There were many "blank spots" in the data.
These occurred while driving, but not sitting still.
Is this an intermittent contact?

Motion detect is on. It has always been on but it didn't do this before.

I also have a Mini 0803 set up the same way and it doesn't get blanks.

Motion detect doesn't work well on the 0801, try with it off and compare results

Motion detection will only record while it sense something moving. If you car is stopped at a light, it'll sometimes stop recording.
