BMW Road Rages (or Crash For Cash?) against a 40 Ton Truck. (DashCam captures all as usual)

Sorry to tell you that it's a preventable accident. If you get some hotdog cutting you off and do not take your foot off of the accelerator then they will rule against the driver of the tractor. The driver of the BMW will get a citation for reckless driving and will have to pay for the damages to the tractor but the driver will still be culpable for improper driving as well.

Always turn the sound off so that they can't hear the accelerator.

Car brakes at 1:27sec.

Truck can be heard braking at 1:28sec.

Collusion happens at end of 129sec.

Truck can also be seen decelerating before hitting the car, all you have to do is watch the top of the screen and pay attention to the clouds, the screen dips down at the beginning of 1:29sec or just after hearing the braking sound (a sign that the truck has lifted off the accelerator/braked).

It's not calculated cash for crash but facts could be easily twisted without video evidence. This is especially true if all the witnesses drive off. Swerve'r could claim he was rear ended. Unplanned crash into cash.

How exactly is this crash for cash?
Seems like bad driving resulting in an accident to me.
That clip has been doing the rounds for quite a while - I think it came out that it was deliberate.
He was in lane 3, hit his brakes hard to avoid running into the back of cars & swerved across into the path of this lorry. Once in front of the lorry (on the slip road/off ramp), he can be clearly seen hitting his brakes hard.

What do you do when a truck is about to hit you in this situation? by this time the car driver doesn't have time to know what the best thing to do is, or is that not the case?
I am not saying this can' be a crash for cash, but it is very likely just an accident due to not keeping a 3 second gap.

They weren't respecting the RWD!

Here's another overly amped up BMW driver, this time rushing a red light.
~snip~
never brake in the middle of a turn unless you WANT the car to rotate. that's like rule number one in performance driving. done properly it can get you around a corner quicker. this was not done properly. 🙂

Did you watch the video???
Sorry but the truck driver pulled into the overtaking lane to overtake and started accelerating well before the BMW undertook him then slammed the brakes on he could have only avoided the accident if he knew the car that was trying to beat him was actually going to slam the brakes on.

Have set in on conference calls for driver related accidents with commercial trucks. Most companies take the position that all accidents are preventable. That is the standard view of the trucking industry and as soon as the BMW pulled in front of the tractor the driver should have taken steps to establish a safe following distance. It is unlikely that the police would site the driver but that is only due to the dash cam. His company would have seen that footage and immediately asked why he did not establish the correct following distance. I know that it's not fair but I have items on my DAC report that ended up there due to companies that take what they like to call a proactive safety approach. If they can show that they are reporting their drivers for accidents then they get incentives from the insurance company and state regulators.
So what your telling me is that as soon as the truck driver saw the car come in front of him before anything else he should have done an emergency stop to immediately try and get a safe distance from the car then caused a pileup behind himself WOW I am glad your not on my side.

Because even if he had tried to stop before the BMW even put his brakes on he would have more then likely still hit him... his truck stops in four times the distance of the BMW. so he would have had to start braking before he even went to overtake just about. before the BMW even appeared on the scene. WOW can anyone recommend a Physic to come and tell me when a bad driver is going do something stupid.

In the first clip with the truck rear-ending the BMW, I don't fault the truck driver at all. It appears to have been 100% intentional on the part of the BMW driver (whether as road rage or scam, I can't tell).

The truck driver also got him a couple more times. Maybe overheated brakes, maybe being a bit cheeky. I'll let that slide.
