...and the focus appears to be just as "soft" as the previous one!
I still have the old one, so I will do an all-settings-equal test between them to see if there is any difference.
EDIT: Here are the two images. The first is with the old one, the second the new one. Both used the same SD card with identical settings.

This after they supposedly fixed the problem at the factory. I'm annoyed that they don't have better QC/QA in place.
