Cam with separate file for GPS data

Hello,

I am new to this forum so I hope I don't break any rules with this topic.

I need for my research a dashcam that provides separate files for video and GPS data. Ideally, I need a dash-cam with a "Developer mode" that allows to interface directly with the camera and the GPS module, but I think that's too much to ask.

I know that there is software to extract GPS data from the video file. I will use such software if no dashcam that fills my needs is available.

Ambarella based cameras store the GPS data in a txt file, not many brands use Ambarella anymore though

All DDPAI Linux-based dashcams write GPS data into readable ASCII files on the SD card/ eMMC flash.

There's a python script that can do this for the Viofo cams. I use it to pull the data so I can continue to use Registrator Viewer.

A bit fiddly though ...
