Mine died didn't even do what yours is doing.
Was a handy little low cost (was on discontinued price. perhaps due to poor reliability ) camera.
The first one I had i took back due to screen problems.

I'd say if you've done the factory resets and it's still not working, then it's dead. SJCAM haven't had the best reputation for reliability and ran quite hot (my SJ7 Star was always hot to the touch) - so I'm not surprised it's prematurely died on you .

Shame though because it was a decent low cost alternative to the GoPro's and SJCAM did support it fairly well with firmware update and the like
