@QUC, I'm not sure that it is wise to include all that personal information here. I would delete the link to the case details at least.

Remove certain details.

But all cases will make public

I understand that the details of the complaint are made public but the personal details such as the complainants name and address are not, that's why I suggested removing the link to the case details. That link reveals your full name, address and apt #.

I have edited that post to remove any personal details and have moved it to the owners feedback thread. Not necessary for this thread.

CANADADASHCAM.COM is a phony website since its moderator Jason manipulates the feedback regarding items he sells.

He is also evasive in warranty claims and will not only make you pay for return shipping to them in Calgary but will also make you pay shipping on the return RMA back to you lol what a scam.

Just so we are clear here: canadadashcam.com website operator Jason (operating out of his basement and pulling a day job to pay the bills) has no say in any warranty returns because he is not qualified technician and does not install equipment into vehicles, he also has no ties with the factory that produces this equipment. This business has no retail locations that you can visit and it will not send you a prepaid label for the return shipping. If you buy from this site (please note only positive reviews there from fictional buyers) and have the need to return the merchandise for whatever reason you will be disappointed.

“If you have any warranty issues, Canada Dashcam looks after you. There is no need to contact the manufacture directly, and no need to ship your camera overseas.”

I found this on there lol sounds like a technicality that he added to cover his behind.

At first I thought I was an isolated case and perhaps this was just my bad luck for buying there but now I have located other buyers who were treated the same way as me. I will file a police report for online fraud. If we all do it then we can take him down.

Just a recent experience this weekend:

Placed an online order for the INNOVV K1 Motorcycle Dashcam (a rebranded Koonlung K1S) after clearly elucidating the situation that I had someone leaving Calgary for India in 2 days, so I placed the order and waited...and waited...but NO INFORMATION from this fly-by-night outfit who did not bother to communicate.

(US citizen with US card and a US address, requesting delivery to a Calgary address, and in our original conversation she suggested my employee swung by to pick it up outside her door)

My employee who was to fly back to India contacted them and Canada Dashcam stated that the order was "declined" - insinuating that my (US) bank had rejected the charge, but when I called my credit card company they said all was good to go.

However, STILL no information from this company and I then followed-up myself - where I was informed (after probing multiple times) that they THEMSELVES had canceled the order!

I seriously fail to understand how people like this can do business.

In any case, in our original teleconversation, the individual (CDC) mentioned that they operated out of a residence, so I guess that's why there is no accountability/professionalism here.

Good luck to all considering any sort of customer service from them!

(I will just pick one up myself when I visit the US next and it will be cheaper in any case!)
