Cellink Neo and Viofo Parking Mode?

Right. The Neo getting or losing power is the trigger for the Neo to tell the dashcam to switch modes.
Sorry to high jack this post I just created an account to asked about this particular question. Last week I a technician install my A229 Pro with power cell 8 battery pack it only enters parking Mode sometimes motion detection (timer set to 90s tested both on and off). It would stay on constantly recording while the car is off. Note he didn't use the H4 hardwiring kit

You need to use the Viofo hardwire cable to have the dashcam know when to switch between driving and parking mode.

Thank you. I brought it back yesterday they added the Hk4 hardwiring kit to the powercell 8 I told them about the yellow and red wire. still haven't entered parking Mode overnight. After work today the Dash cam was off and would not turn on. Brought it to another tech they said I need a new powercell pack. its not getting power to power to the dash. Think I need to update the dashcam attached pic of current firmware and Battery pack

Looks like your battery isn’t getting power and charging. Hopefully they wired that in correctly? It comes with the proper cabling and documentation your installers can reference.

Assuming they hardwired it properly (based on wire function, not color), and then you enable parking mode on the dashcam, it should all work from there.
