More than my wife thinks I need.
Has anyone found a way to view the rear cam video on an Android device? I'm thinking in terms of on-site viewing after a traffic 'incident'.

vlc might do it, but i haven't tried with my current phone. with my last several phones, vlc was super crash-tastic, so i quickly uninstalled it. and mx player only does the front.

one possibility (though it's probably a big stretch) is to install a Terminal utility to get command line access, then use the bash script @GTA Driver wrote. probably the biggest hangup there will be getting ffmpeg on the phone. and NO, you don't need to be rooted to have/use a terminal program.

not exactly convenient, but a lot more plausible than trying to use my vbscript... since vbscript is windows-only! that said, now i wonder if my vbscript would work on a windows phone...

Thanks, didn't realize VLC had an Android version. Just D/L'd and will play over the next few days.
