I noticed on recordings list that timestamps are wrong. So I connect with the Blacksys app, goto settings and choose the synchronize time setting, save and OK. Timestamp is okay for a while. Then I check couple days later and the dates and time are both wrong. I set timezone for PST already.

My unit does not have the GPS module, and it's hardwired into my car for power. On CA21 firmware. Any ideas how I can fix this? Did a search and didn't see anyone else with this issue.

No, it just looks like it's days behind and wrong time. I leave it on parking mode motion detection - used to work just fine in my minivan. had it reinstalled on my hatchback that's actually parked indoors and less motion - should be triggering less. I set battery cutoff for 12volts but it should still remember the time properly...

if it resets to a particular time it's generally an RTC battery problem, if it's random it's likely some other impending failure
