Chupad D501 not loop recording? Anyone know why?

I set loop record to 3 min and i get notifications that the SD card is full. Anyone know why it wouldn't actually be loop recording?
 
Which SD card are you using, and have you checked it with h2testw?

It's this one. I haven't tested with h2testw, however it was originally meant for a retropie project (i botched the sd card but had it re-formatted in my android tablet to re-set the formatting and space allotment.) then re-formatted again in Fat32. It doesn't look like it's a spacing issue, because when it caps out it's still 3-4 days of video it's that it literally won't start the loop cycle.
