So I'd like to introduce myself to start off with πŸ™‚ I've been lurking around for a while getting loads of useful info but felt I should really join
I'm just a young one at age 19 (so be nice πŸ˜‰)
I am a proud owner of a 1968 Morris Minor (my first car) (can't work out how to upload pictures 😳)
I'm a newbie to dashcams but always wanted one for safety reasons and also to record journeys in the old girl
I have 2 or 3 cams in mind but just final decisions
Being such a small and vertical screen aswell so it's going to be hard to hide a cam from everyone

Welcome πŸ™‚

Hmm, I'm thinking you might have difficulty plugging it into the cigar lighter socket like every one else ... I guess you do you actually have 12 volts available?

Welcome moggycamuk.

With that choice of car you cant be all bad πŸ˜‰ most young ppl look for something completely different for ther first car.

My first car was a volvo 121 from 1967 which was pretty old when i got it in 1984, but it was somthing else than the popular Ford excorts and Opel ascona that was so popular with the other guys.

nice to see you have an old classic and not some fast and the furious wannabee
I see less and less around, but I do still see a few, and an orange "stanced" one moved in a few streets down. They look dangerous and sickening.

Sign up at imgur.com and it is an easy drag and drop on the page.
I love seeing cars I can't see here.

I had '63 Morris Oxford and a '61 Morris Minor. Oxford's OK but the Minor is bad. Breaking front ball joints. No warning, just gave way in middle of turn in a busy street. Also those 3 main bearing engines and drum brakes are horrible.

Welcome to the forum !

At least few times per year I can see Morris Minor 1000 here on Irish roads, but I guess those are only "Sunday-drivers" enjoying their ride.

If I recall correctly, the Moggy has a tubular profile rear view mirror stem. In which case, the photos below show the ingredients for a discreet setup.

The camera is a Mobius. Review...

For under Β£10 we can buy a cigarette socket and fit it in easily so no need to worry with that one thankfully πŸ™‚

Oh lovely would love the original oxford πŸ™‚ and sounds like the trunnions there just one of them things you have to keep on top off in the 80's they were repaired badly so you may have had some dodgy ones πŸ™ and engine is great πŸ™‚ and drums could do with some more umph πŸ˜€

Ahhh lovely yeah there Gorgious cars and pretty fun to drive πŸ˜‰

Rear view mirror stem.

Note that Mini 0803 is discontinued.
Haha I got you now sorry read it as rear window to start with 😳
Hmm could be a possibility though but the stem I'd have thought was to narrow diameter πŸ˜•
The a118c amd mobius I am tempted by the most though thinking with the a118c either to mount it at the top near the rear view or at the bottom but change the 3m sticker to a black one instead of grey (don't get why black was never done originally)
