Excuse the video, I am new to this .
Basically after reading on here I leaned towards using the exisitng step down cigar plug that came with my A119 as some folks seem to say not to plug it directly into a 4 USB port which I also wired ( for other items ) whilst doing the cam hardwire install.
I basically soldered a two port cigar 12v socket to the back of the factory socket,connected a 4 port usb to the two port cigar extension. In regards to the A119, I soldered the positive and ground of the supplied plug to the existing factory 12v contacts. I checked continuity etc.
Ideally I would have just plugged it into the 4 port usb but from what I read on here, it is not advisable.
