Hello, everyone,

unfortunately a neighbor seems to have something against my car as the vehicle has been scratched twice in the last month!
So I bought a DR750S-2CH to run it in park mode.

After I had placed the cameras well, connected an external power supply and switched the camera to parking mode, I connected to the camera using the Blackvue app (wifi) and unfortunately had to realize that in parking mode every second is being recorded (it will be video clips created every minute)! Accordingly, the memory card will probably fill up quickly. However, I'm not interested in permanent recording, I only want clips to be recorded if movement is detected (for example when someone walks past the car).

Which setting do I have to change to limit recording to movements in parking mode?

Thanks very much!

Looking at the manual, that's how parking mode works. It will record like normal, and will save a clip if movement is detected.

I am pretty sure that this camera does not have the function you are describing.

If you have a trail cam that would work, also if you have a gopro 7 or higher there is beta firmware that will do motion detection.

The DR750S-2CH allows 3 recording options for Parking Mode; Off, Motion & Impact, and Time Lapse.

It sounds like you are using Time Lapse, try changing it to Motion & Impact.

From the App - MyCameras
1. Click the 3 dots to the right similar to “:” but has three dots.
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Firmware
4. Click on Basic
5. Click on Recordings
6. Click on Parking Mode Recordings
7. Click on Motion & Impact
8. Click on < to back out to Basic
9. Click on < to back out to Firmware
10. Click on Sensitivity
11. Click on Motion Sensor Parking Mode - Make any adjustments required such as to the area monitored. For both Front and rear cameras. My preference is to use the bottom two rows only; But test for yourself to see if good for your needs. You can also use slider to adjust sensitivity from off to 5.
12. Click on < to back out to Sensitivity
13. Click on < to back out of G Sensor Parking Mode, make adjustments for up/down, side to side, Front & Back
14. Click on < as needed to back out.
15. Test and repeat as needed for your situation.
