DR900X

Ideas for a Secure and Clean looking Battery Pack Install in an Audi. with a DR900X-2CH
I Used Heat Shrink wrap (Double Layered) around steel Plumbers Tape To secure it safely out of the way.
Fortunately there was plenty of room in the back of the car and right above a set of fuses.
Super clean and easy to install and get to settings if I ever need to.
Now I'm considering adding a DR750X-2CH, where I'll put the rear cameras on the sides and the DR750X main in the rear window.
I can simply stack another Battery on top and plug into the expansion port on my current one.

My latest DR900X report: had to RMA the front camera for some weird picture quality. The camera is still HOT after use. Hopefully the two are not related.

I'm sorry but :ROFLMAO: (it looks even worse than my DR900S units)

They didn't learn anything from previous model... The same crap, just relabeled.

"Plumbers Tape" see i learned something today. :) now i can go to bed happy.

Just installed my DR750X-2CH yesterday and loving it so far (especially that it can be wired straight to fusebox without PMP). However, the G-sensor seems overly sensitive even turned all the way down, anyone else had this? I.e. Closing door with normal force causes it to trigger an event (all sensitivities on 7). Driving sensitivity set to 2 and driving over potholes and railway tracks also causes it to trigger.

Question for 900X-1CH owners. Can you *confirm that there is not a "rear camera" port?

Background: running DR900X-2CH, the front camera video starts to crap out. Sent it back to the seller. Never heard back from them. I was eventually issued a full refund by Walmart. Now, I have a fully wired (x-series wiring) non-functional ... back camera. Hence my question: can I just buy the 1CH camera v. buying the 2CH complete kit?

* DR900X-1CH owners manual does NOT show a rear camera port. DR900X-2CH OM shows the port.
