Hello, I am a first time poster here on this forum and would appreciate your help on the issue with my new DR970X Plus that was just installed a few days ago. When I first got it installed, I could connect to the camera just fine despite a bit of slowness but then after a few hours, I could not connect to the camera at all and keep getting the message "Unable to join the network". After a few times trying and resetting the camera, I was able to connect to the camera a few times but it's not really stable.

Today, I just figured out that after changing the Video Code to H264 and lower the Bitrate to Highest, I am able to connect to the camera more seemlessly. I could even connect to the cloud and start getting notifcaton when my battery pack is running out of power. I am thinking it might be my memory card (Sandisk High Endurance 128Gb) that i bought from Amazon (link) is the issue, since maybe the writing speed is not really fast for the camera to record Extreme bitrate?

Anyone has the same issue and what is your solution to this?

Much appreciated any feedbacks from you guys. Thank you.

The SanDisk High Endurance should be more than capable of running on Extreme setting, so would almost any micro SD card

Extreme setting needs 40Mbps
Whereas the High Endurance has a 40MB/s write speed

(Note Mb is different to MB)
40Mbps is about 5MB/s

Id recommend formatting the SD card using the BlackVue desktop app (Windows or Apple).
Then put the SD card back in the camera and set it back up again.

Also, try using the BlackVue SD card that came with the camera and see if the issue is still there, to rule out the SD card

I have formated the Sandisk Card and the problem still persists. I tried the Blackvue card and it works much better and I can set the settings to Extreme with H265. I figured that it's better to use Samsung Pro Endurance 128 MLC (the old model with Red and Black stripe). I just ordered one and will see how it goes.
