Looks like there is a new Vantrue model on the horizon: the E1 Pro S.

Don't quite have any information on this model at present, but I hope it's an upgrade from the stellar E1 Pro and not just a sidegrade. @Jeff_Vantrue

Hi sir,

Thanks for spotting this and for the kind words about the E1 Pro!

We’re currently in the process of arranging the internal testing stage. We’ll share more details with the community once everything is ready.

Appreciate your continued support!

Best regards,
Jeff_Vantrue

good how get new e1pros test

I love the small form factor.

I still use my E1, and it is now living a much more dangerous life as a target camera at the range, so my shots wizz right past it.

Mind you it is behind a bullet proof shield so should be safe.

Sad that even without the shield the WIFI will not reach back to the shot shed, well at least not from out far 100 - 130 M

E2 with 4K/60 HDR would be awesome, but that is a massive processing for a very tiny camera, sure a action camera that just do a burst of recording here and there probably fine, but a always going dashcam would be a tall order i think.
And not least in a form factor this small.

What is AOV Parking Mode?
Is that like VIOFO’s LPID (low power impact detection)?

I cannot answer it with a personalized response, because I'm not allowed...But When you google Vantrue AOV, Google AI Replies:

2. "Always On Vision" (AOV)
In newer security and dashcam naming conventions, AOV stands for Always On Vision. For instance, certain automotive or smart security systems use AOV low-power to maintain active surveillance tracking

Yeah, I saw that slide on the listing. Am curious if it's similar to what Viofo did for the LPID. Hopefully someone from Vantrue can give us more details or when the embargo lifts for those testers

The AOV is a power saving mode that lets you record with time lapse or collision.
Does not compute.
Does this mean AOV offers continuous recording like VIOFO's Low Bitrate Parking Mode?

@DashCamMan
Can we get a new sub-section for E1 Pro S?
"E1 Pro S" is significantly improved / different from "E1 Pro" it even has a different FCC ID#.

Embargo on FCC filing lifts in about ten days, so that should give you a hint about rough timeframes of release

There are two AOV parking modes. They are not like VIOFO's low bitrate parking mode. I have to wait for the information embargo to lift [very soon] before I can say more.
