E1 Rear Window Mount Possibility

Hi everyone,

I get an Golf 8 soon and think about to install the E1 as in seperate rear camera since the car has a power socket in the trunk.

Question: Is it possible to use the E1 as rear camera? From the pictures I find online I worry that you can habe issues with the angle of the camera if since the Golf trunk / rear windows is quite steep

@Vantrue Dash Cam can you tell me if I can use the E1 as a rear window camera? Do you see any issues regarding the angle of the mount?

I am wondering what is the fastest way to switch parking mode on / off on viofo.

If I install it as rear window cam what's the most convenient way?

Background is, that I want to switch it off when home but only have it running when I'm not in my own garage
