Hi,

My E360 had the wrong date, so I went in and set the correct date, but now when it powers on, it's not recording.

I have checked all the obvious troubleshooting I have found online and also reset and its still not recording.

It's not hard wired, just plugged in to the cigarette socket.

Any ideas please?

Looking at the on-screen display, your E360 appears to be in handheld mode rather than dashcam mode. It is waiting for you to press the button on the side to start/stop a recording.

I'm not sure why it is in handheld mode. Have you checked that the E360 is mounted correctly in the GPS mount? Sometimes mine needs an extra push to engage properly.

I was wondering what that sign is. So it's stuck in hand held mode, but I can't get it out of that. I have ensured it's fully pushed in place and I have even tried a reset and it's still stays in hand held mode.

I have never even connected it to the hand held device !!!

Not sure what to try next, but thanks for noticing that icon and raising it to my attention.

I'll see if I get any ideas or solutions from Forum Members, if not, I'll contact Vantrue Custom Service.

All sorted by Leo at Vantrue Support.

Once I was given instructions (with the handy video attached), it was a doddle.

Thanks
