VIOFO A139, VIOFO A139 Pro, VIOFO A119 Mini 2, VIOFO A229...
I am getting an 'Error -13' in the VIOFO app when setting the video resolution to 4K. I'm using firmware V1.1_0615.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

My first thought is if you recently used the VIOFO app to interact with the A229 before trying to change the configuration of the A139 Pro, there is data held in memory by the app that is tied to the first dash camera model it sees/works with. If you haven't already, exit the app and then kill that instance of the app and start a new instance of the app. That can fix issues like this. I've run into weird things like incomplete list of settings in the app when crossing VIOFO dash camera models with the same app instance.

Robert is correct.
When I'm testing multiple Viofo cameras simultaneously I experience this malfunction almost every time.
My solution is to use three different devices to control the cameras, (new cell phone, old cell phone, old tablet).
Also deleting the APP, and re-installing it might be necessary sometimes.
Btw, how come you have so many Viofo dash cams, (A139, A139 Pro, A119 Mini 2, A229)? lol

I've never had to delete the app and reinstall it, only kill the running instance of the app using the iOS / Android manner to kill a running app.

Thanks, I'll give it a go. I'll clear the app cache first, if that doesn't work I'll reinstall the app.

It worked when I cleared app storage. Thanks for your help.

Well i had same issue and I checked in both app iOS & android was getting same error 13. Also once the device get heated then wifi will not work and wired things will happen. You need unplug the device and leave for some time.
