F770 Firmware on F750

Hello All

Fantastic forum, full of information and been very useful in my choice of Dashcam.
I did have a Mio Touch 568 (Also wanted speed cam/safety cam data) aswell as a dashcam, I trialed it for a fe weeks but settled on the F750 (front and rear) just using 12V cigarette charger currently as Im changing cars in November and will hardwire into that.

Anyway on to my point, Ive read a few posts that the F750 can be flashed with the F750 firmware as the internal hardware is the same.
Has anyone done this/Can confirm?
