Purchased a Thinkware DashCam, identified as an F800, from GM, and my dealer installed the front and rear camera. When I tried to update the firmware, I discovered that the embedded firmware was Version 1.00.00 and the DashCam model was listed as DC-H1-FG. Advised by Thinkware Support that F800 and DC-H1-FG are the same model. On-line updates for the DC-H1-FG are: US version 1.00.00; CA version 1.03.05. The F800 US version is listed as 1.01.03.
After carefully updating the SD card with all three versions, separately, none resulted in a firmware update. Anyone else having the same issue? Any suggestions to update my F800/FC-H1-FG will be greatly appreciated.
