Firmware Subfolder in every camera folder

Hi Admin,

It's often difficult to keep up with the latest firmware updates as they're often not publicised and it can be difficult to find them.

Why doesn't the forum have a sub folder into which the manufacturers can post the latest firmware updates for each camera. Provided the manufacturers kept it up to date, it would make it easier for uses to find the latest updates.

So for example, a typical folder tree would look like this:

most manufacturers don't post their firmwares here so it would end up being users that were doing it

I guess even that would be better than nothing. Only thing with users is you'd have to keep it to linking to the official websites download section to stop malicious software,
