@Sunny, you had convinced me to buy 2 pcs of Z7 for lateral vision, until I read your "file missing" issue.
Did you find the cause ?
 
I never did see that problem here Chris even with the camera recording over 12 hours straight but I used a different charger.
 
Yes I know, that's why I have asked @Sunny, on its last message he had to try another charger.

Yes, the problem was the tip of charger not securely holding the socket.
It was recording when the charger was making contact and off when it was loose.
I have been using a regular usb phone charger and that issue is resolved.
But if it happens again, I'll do something to bind the charging tip with some clips or rubber band there.
Micro usb is really micro compared to mini so not as big firm charging port.

Length: 0.28125 inches = 0.714375 cm = 7.14375 mm
Width: 0.1875 inches = 0.47625 cm = 4.7625 mm

I have to find specific 3M adhesive mount, I can't trim a G1WH mount I think.

Would you please mesure the diameter of the ball of the sucction mount ?

I have 2 pcs of this G1W mount, I can perhaps exchange the T bracket between sucction and adhesive mount ?
(only possible if it is same ball diameter)

Be careful if it is too cold, the mount could break if you try to remove the ball.
 
The ball is .625 inches (may be slightly off as I used regular tape measure, not digital).
= 1.5875 cm
= 15.875 mm

With a digital caliper, I've mesured between 15.88 and 16.05mm. (ball is not regular)
So I think it is exactly the same size 🙂

Received 2 pcs of DOME Z7 today.
G1W 3M adhesive mount has same ball diameter as Z7 succion mount.
I will be able to use 3M adhesive mouns with my Z7 ! 🙂
