Getting started with video editing etc. Need tips....

Hi,

My first dashcam is a Marcus 3 and I have many 5 minute .mov files.

I need to combine and edit where required.

I have no idea what software I should be looking for or the best format to save it in for posting either on YouTube or for maybe evidence purposes.

Any tips or advice would be very much appreciated.
