Here a mini-review of the camera Git2 after an exit in a somewhat sunny day (started sunny but been out of luck after 1-2 hours). I used firmware 1.3 with the default Git2 waterproof.

- Also based on my video recording, its true. The lightning have a very very important role in the quality of the video. This camera isn't made to be used indoor or in night. There is a huge gap of quality between both scenario. (low light and sunny day or just outside is good)
- Batteries indicator was really accurate in this firmware. Also the battery lasted for 1:30 doing 1080p 60fps and 1440p 30fps mixed video recording which is really great.
- The camera lasted for like 2h outside at a temperature of -12 degree celcius without any operational problems.
- I used the remote watch to make the shoots. I really like that a lots except that i would have liked to see the ability to start the camera from the watch and also start recording directly. But i guess that will be fixed with a firmware update.

So far i really loved the quality of the camera... especially for the price of 3 GoPro which is just amazing. So far i am impressed.

PLEASE DON'T use the MediaFire Player.. the quality is really crap. Download the file directly (Save link as...) and watch on your computer.

I couldn't make more since the Git2 ran off of battery and it was snowing i didn't want to change battery there.

Yea, coulnd't agree more with you.. For it's price it's almost unbeatable by any other camera.. Gitup has set bar high.. Gyro stabilization is great, maybe if it could be more customizable e.g. choose between two modes - one default and one with lower sensitivity but higher resolution (smaller sensor crop to get more details). And also if there will be more bitrate options (e.g. three levels Low - 20M/Medium - 28 M/High - 40M) it could be even greater cam.. As sometimes I need to push shadows a bit higher and with low bitrates there is noticeable blocking and washed out shadows...
Or even better if it could be hackable :) like Ambrella cams, where experienced users could modify firmware and set own bitrates.. Maybe I want too much for its price :)

Dowloaded a couple of your clips.

Seem like the more i see the more i want a git2.

Its a really good cam. Normally i would have go with a GoPro but that would be a real ripoff considering a collegue bought a GoPro with all accessory (except the remote function which is another 100$) for something around 750$ (CND) and i got the Git2 with everything i needed (including a remote watch) for only 250$ (CND). When i received the package, it was really well packaged. It didn't look cheap at all and seriously in sunlight condition both will have the same quality. I can say Git2 have quality of 9/10 over GoPro. Sure, the GoPro might perform better in night condition or low light but at some point it will suffer the same problems as any cam. However, if you doing action sports (which is the first purpose of this camera) which normally are during day i highly recommand it. Its a no brainer.

But that not all. The gyro, external mic support, the really well made waterproof case, remote watch (which is cheap btw) and GoPro accessories compatibility all make it excellent over the GoPro.

i would have liked to see the ability to start the camera from the watch and also start recording directly. But i guess that will be fixed with a firmware update.

This will never be possible because it uses battery listening for the remote so it would kill the battery just sitting there.

At least offering the possibility to have a sleep mode which listen to it. Could be enabled or not. But honestly not a big deal. I can start it manually.
