Glare is so bad that the video is unusable

I have a Street Guardian SG9665GC. Whether in the shade or in sunlight, the image looks like this:

I've just ordered the CPL for it, but I was wondering if there was some sort of firmware or setting that I have that's wrong. The glare seems very extreme.

Yes, I tested it in the shade and it improves by about 15%, but the glare is still overwhelming.

I'll get @Pier28 to get in touch about updating the firmware and doing a calibration reset, that's not normal at all

it looks like the calibration settings are not saved which could give it a washed out look like that, Jon will step you through the process, if it turns out there's something wrong though we will have it replaced for you for a new one

@Madoka, Your EV vaule is too high (picture is overexposed)....change to =0/auto.
and problem will be resolved....simple
